Our clients

At William James we take pride in setting no limitations when it comes to the scale or complexity of a project. We understand that every job comes with its challenges no matter how big or small a project may be. Our clients are mostly residential home owners or property developers looking to either improve or extend their property. Our end goal is to give the client a flexible service that suites their budget but also providing great Engineering solutions at the same time.

Christopher Morgan

Company Director

Chris's love of engineering began in his early career working within the construction industry, gaining valuable hands on experience and the practical mechanics. Seeing the potential in Chris, he was funded to study and work part time as an engineering technician, resulting in a 1st class honours BEng Civil Engineering degree. Chris gained numerous years of experience as structural technician to a Senior Project Engineer, working on a vast range of projects from residential to commercial. This experience has allowed Chris to develop his own approach when looking at construction and engineering, from design input, technical understanding and the hands on approach.

Chris founded William James Engineering in 2021 with the vision to provide his clients with a personal service that would allow their residential dreams to become a reality.

design for our clients

Design of steel structures to Eurocode 3 and Composite steel and concrete structure to Eurocode 4.

Design of timber structures to Eurocode 5. This includes the design of softwood, hardwood, glue-laminated timber and all other wood based panels.

Design of concrete structures to Eurocode 2. This includes the design of plain, reinforced and prestressed concrete.
